The Catwalk OPENED on Saturday May 28th. Please come visit this newly built National Recreation Trail; it is truly spectacular and a wonderful place to spend the day with your friends and family.
We are proud of our piece of heaven on earth. We welcome visitors with open arms and warm hospitality. Our community provides many of the amenities that you may require, and we are just 65 miles from Silver City and 38 miles south of Reserve. We have restaurants, lodging, campgrounds, shopping, galleries, convenience stores with: gas stations, propane tank exchange, cell phone service, places to see and things to do.
For those who would like to leave the ‘world’ behind and relax in the beauty of New Mexico, what better place than the communities of Glenwood, Pleasanton, Alma and Mogollon. The Gila National Forest surrounds our communities, the San Francisco River flows through town and Whitewater and Mineral Creeks cascade from the east.
We are happy to announce that the Catwalk National Recreation Trail will OPEN on Memorial Day Weekend. For more information please call the Glenwood Ranger District office: 575-539-2481.
